Police issued an urgent call after a Spanish man went missing in Manchester on Sunday afternoon.
The man, who lives and works in London, was last seen warming up for a Sunday afternoon game of football when his friends looked around and suddenly he was nowhere to be seen.
“He was there one minute,” his friend Willian reported to the media at a press conference, “ but as soon as we kicked off he had disappeared. We’re all really worried as he was a big part of our group. Come back Alvaro if you’re listening, we miss you.”
The man is described as slight, not especially quick, a second rate finisher who lacks a real read of the game and uses a lot of hair gel. His picture is already posted on every lamp post in the area.
It’s not the first time Morata has vanished. In fact every time his team plays an important game the police are on standby for another missing persons report.
“Then things got worse this time!” Willian continued. “When Eden disappeared for the first time ever. Perhaps to look for his buddy.”
The police are pursuing leads that indicate Morata might have become lost in Lindeloff’s pocket, where is is suspected of residing for most of the game, and the Swede looks to be one of the first suspects police will interview.
