The Wenger Out Campaign has announced that they will send one more message for Arsene Wenger in to the skies. Leftover funds from hiring previous planes has given them the possibility to give the Arsenal manager a proper send off.
While previous creative messages have said things like ‘No contract. #wengerout’, the mad lads behind the planes have revealed their final plan. Head organiser, DJ BantY Bantz explained:
“I don’t know, what do I say, man? We got mad respect for Arsene yo. It’s his time but he gave us so much, like, love for football. We had our differences, nuffin wrong with a verbal tear up, you know what I mean, mate? But, we’re all good now. He’s leaving and we just need to show the love, ain’t nuffin but love bro”
Our reporter on the ground could not make heads or tails of what this guy was talking about. When asked specifically what the banner would say, DJ BantY Bantz tried his best to explain:
“Bro, were you not just listening?! You have got to be joking man. It’s going to say “22 years, mad respect and love”.
The WengerIn campaign ran out of funds a long time ago but have scrapped together a few quid. Their plan is sing Celine Dion’s lovesong ‘Think twice’ during the 22nd minute in the final league match of the season against Huddersfield.
