There are very few positives, according to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Manchester United look like they could be be missing as many as 10 first team players for game at Selhurst Park this evening.
The 0-0 home draw with Liverpool saw 3 players go off injured, Juan Mata, Ander Herrera and Jesse Lingard all came off within the first half . Lingard only lasted few minutes after coming on.
Tonight, things are hardly better: Martial, Matic, Mata, Herrera, Lingard, Jones, Darmian, Valencia & Greenwood are out, while Rashford is a big doubt.
Solskjaer has called on Star forwards Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez to find the form that brought them fame in the absence of their teammates.
“It’s a chance for them to play to their potential,” he said. “Reputation is one thing – but the potential [of both players] is high. The two are good mates, link up well together so this might be a chance for them to find some form and give a selection headache for when everyone gets fit.”
